Centre for Law and Policy Research

The Centre for Law and Policy Research is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing constitutional rights through research, governance interventions, advocacy, and strategic litigation. CLPR focuses on addressing discrimination at the intersections of caste, gender, disability, and minority identities, working to make the Constitution accessible to all.

Role

CLPR is hiring a Project Coordinator to manage operational and administrative functions for the Constitution Defenders Fellowship. The position involves overseeing day-to-day project implementation, coordinating with fellows, and supporting planning, reporting, budgeting, and partnership activities. The role reports to the Director of Operations and the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day project operations to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Hold regular meetings with Constitution Defender Fellows and maintain records.
  • Report on project progress and implementation to management.
  • Manage project budgets and financial documentation.
  • Draft timely, high-quality project reports capturing achievements and challenges.
  • Participate in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
  • Support workshops, bootcamps, seminars, and other project events.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, CSOs, NGOs, governments, and donors.
  • Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience in event or training management.
  • Budget management experience is desirable.
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in the non-profit sector is desirable.
  • Undergraduate degree in Law or social sciences; Master’s degree preferred.
