Role
A hands-on position focused on planning and running community projects that create real change for local families.
Responsibilities
- Lead the communication between community members, volunteers, and the trust team.
- Mobilize local participation and build strong relationships with Beneficiaries.
- Manage the daily execution of project activities based on set timelines.
- Coordinate logistics for field visits, workshops, and community events.
- Document project progress and prepare clear reports for donors and trustees.
- Maintain organized records of activities and the people we serve.
- Monitor project milestones and report any challenges to leadership.
- Support fundraising efforts and help build new partnerships.
- Oversee social media accounts to share our impact with the public.
- Manage compliance with all internal policies and donor guidelines.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in the NGO sector or community work.
- Fluency in English and Malayalam is essential for community interaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for reporting.
- Strong skills in public speaking and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks independently.
- Deep passion for social justice and community welfare.
