Role
As a Part-Time Project Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for an adolescent girls' empowerment project across six informal settlements in Patna. You will be responsible for ensuring the project meets its goals, managing staff, and serving as the primary liaison with government and institutional partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight to the Project Coordinator and Social Workers, ensuring all project interventions (like peer learning sessions and government scheme navigation) are delivered effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies and local institutional partners like ASHA and Anganwadi workers, and ward councillors.
- Ensure effective use of measurement tools (digital dashboards, benefit records, assessments) for monitoring and evaluation to track project impact.
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to staff and external facilitators to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Admin Coordinator to manage the project budget and ensure financial compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field. A Master's degree is a definite plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in community development or social work.
- Proven experience in building and managing relationships with government and institutional partners.
- Strong strategic planning and team leadership abilities.
- Excellent monitoring, evaluation, and reporting skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
