Role
Lead monitoring, evaluation, and learning work for education programs, using data and evidence to improve program design, track impact, and support decision-making across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead monitoring, evaluation, and learning work for selected education programs in Bhopal and other locations
- Design and improve MEL frameworks, tools, and systems across programs
- Track program performance using defined indicators and evaluation tools
- Analyse data and share insights to improve program design and delivery
- Ensure quality and timely execution of monitoring and evaluation activities
- Conduct data validation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Support program teams to understand data and use evidence in decision-making
- Contribute to organisation-wide learning, research, and thought leadership
- Prepare high-quality reports for internal use, funders, and partners
- Support research projects that generate evidence for the education sector
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, or learning roles
- Educational background in development studies, education, public policy, economics, statistics, or a related field
- Strong experience designing and managing MEL systems
- Strong data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SPSS, Stata, R, Alteryx, Python, or similar
- Experience working in the education sector is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
