Adalat AI emerged as a legal-tech startup building India's end-to-end justice tech stack, using artificial intelligence to eliminate judicial delays and enhance access to justice. Operating across 10 Indian states with backing from world-leading foundations, their solutions include cutting-edge ASR models for Indian languages successfully implemented in multiple high courts, including a landmark deployment at Delhi High Court.
Role
Lead Adalat AI's expansion across Madhya Pradesh courts, bridging technology and justice through strategic implementation. You'll work directly with the High Court leadership and travel extensively across district courts to ensure seamless deployment of AI-powered judicial solutions that are transforming India's legal system.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with MP High Court team designated for Adalat AI deployment, serving as primary liaison with Chief Justice's office, Registrar General, and IT committee
- Travel extensively across MP to oversee real-time implementation in district courts and engage with District Judges, Court Administrators, and Stenographers
- Collaborate closely with COO and Operations Team to design deployment strategies and supervise on-ground tech representatives
- Develop and conduct comprehensive training sessions for judges, court clerks, and stenographers on AI-powered judicial tools
- Organise workshops and onboarding programmes at district court locations to ensure confident adoption of transcription and case management solutions
- Track court-level adoption rates, efficiency improvements, and user feedback for impact assessment
- Prepare detailed impact reports for High Court and government partners on case processing improvements
- Establish feedback and troubleshooting processes for judges and court staff with real-time communication channels
- Work with technical teams to resolve implementation challenges and iterate solutions based on field insights
- Maintain detailed documentation on court interactions and areas for improvement
Requirements
- LLB degree (required); LLM preferred
- Proficiency in English and Hindi
- 3+ years experience as lawyer, judicial clerk, or legal professional, preferably in appellate or district courts
- Strong familiarity with court procedures, judicial workflows, and government engagement
- Experience working with High Court and district courts on legal or technology projects
- Excellent communication skills for engaging judges, registrars, and court staff professionally
- Willingness to travel extensively across MP for monitoring and deployment
- Ability to liaise between legal, technical, and operations teams
