Role
As a Project Officer, you will be the driving force behind implementing VOICE-4's activities at the grassroots level. You will manage partnerships and lead the recruitment and training of field staff to ensure the successful rollout of camps and sessions that empower adolescent girls.
Responsibilities
- Implement project activities across Telangana and Bangalore, ensuring smooth operations at the grassroots level.
- Manage relationships with partners and key stakeholders to support program goals.
- Lead the recruitment process for short-term consultancy staff, including scheduling and conducting interviews.
- Train and manage a team of counsellors, field coordinators, and teachers for various sessions.
- Oversee the rollout of partner camps and ensure all deliverables are met on time.
- Analyze impact assessment data and draft reports on progress and future plans.
- Monitor work plans, budgets, and key performance indicators alongside the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Master’s or Graduate degree with 2-3 years of experience in recruitment.
- Prior experience in managing volunteers or interns is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is required; knowledge of another Indian language is a plus.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout India and stay on-site during camps.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic back-office operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a startup environment.
- Passion for gender development and understanding of issues related to women's education.
