At the heart of every child’s growth lies safety, love, and opportunity. Protsahan India Foundation was born out of the belief that no child should be left without these essentials, especially those who have endured abuse, neglect, or extreme adversity. Founded in 2010 in New Delhi, Protsahan is a child protection organisation that bridges the worlds of education, art, and healing. It creates nurturing, trauma-informed environments for girls and adolescents so they can recover, grow, and realise their potential.
With specialised focus on mental health and counselling, Protsahan works with children in Child Care Institutions and marginalised community spaces, helping them rebuild trust through consistent support. Arts-based therapy—storytelling, dance, photography, and painting—forms a cornerstone of their approach, giving children creative ways to process trauma and express themselves freely.
