Public Policy India (PPI) is a pioneering knowledge and engagement platform dedicated to building and shaping India’s growing public policy and social impact space. Established in 2020, PPI was created to fill a crucial gap—offering a dedicated, accessible platform for young Indians and professionals to explore, understand, and build meaningful careers in public policy, government affairs, development, and policy communications.

PPI’s mission is to empower young Indians with the tools, resources, and community they need to engage with public policy—whether as informed citizens or future leaders. The platform’s vision is to foster a vibrant, collaborative community where people from all backgrounds can learn, discuss, and drive positive policy change.

PPI’s work is built on four core pillars:

1. Content:
   Through The PolicyGram, PPI’s content arm, complex policy issues are broken down into simple, visual, and relatable stories. Whether it’s daily developments or long-term trends, The PolicyGram helps everyone see why policy matters and how it shapes our lives.
2. Community:
   PPI’s PolicySphere initiative runs local policy and social impact chapters in over 20 Indian cities. These chapters host meetups, workshops, and networking events, making policy engagement accessible beyond traditional hubs like New Delhi. The goal is to build a truly national ecosystem of awareness, learning, and opportunity.
3. Careers:
   PPI is a go-to destination for anyone looking to build a career in public policy. Their weekly newsletter curates hundreds of jobs, internships, courses, and fellowships, all freely accessible. PPI also maintains databases of organizations, scholarships, and public policy courses, and runs a YouTube channel with interviews, discussions, and career guidance.
4. Capacity Building:
   Through Proficy, PPI’s consulting arm, the team works with NGOs and social enterprises to build capacity in strategy, programs, partnerships, and communications. This hands-on work helps partner organizations deliver greater impact and reach their goals.
