Badlaav Social Reform Foundation is a not for profit Non-Governmental Organization that aims to work for the betterment of the society. We work on creating awareness about environmental and social issues through educational seminars and interactive classroom sessions. Our focus is on creating awareness among the youth and the younger generation on how they can be more environmentally friendly and take better choices concerning today’s burning issues such as pollution and climate change.

We also focus on social issues, and work towards educating the younger generation about burning social problems and talking about topics generally considered Taboo in our society, for an instance, Menstruation. We aim to break the stigmas and barriers that restrain people from being able to speak and express themselves freely.

Role

Python Development Intern supporting the design and backend development of health-focused digital applications for social impact.

Responsibilities

Design and develop applications focused on menstrual and sexual health awareness
Work on backend development using Python for business logic and data flow
Translate content and user journeys into simple, user-friendly application flows
Collaborate with programme teams to understand requirements and use cases
Test, debug, and improve application performance and functionality
Ensure solutions are ethical, privacy-conscious, and suitable for sensitive health topics
Document code, workflows, and usage instructions
Support continuous feature improvements and updates

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Python programming
Interest in building apps or digital platforms
Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Sensitivity towards health, gender, and social topics
Good logical thinking and problem-solving ability
Currently pursuing or recently completed education in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
