Role
As a Research Associate at CDPP, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the centre’s research and policy initiatives. This position is suited for individuals with a Master’s degree in Public Policy or a related field, who possess strong analytical skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The role demands a keen understanding of public policy challenges and a commitment to empirical investigation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analyses to contribute to research outputs.
- Assist in proposal development and associated preparatory work.
- Undertake primary research and secondary analysis of academic and policy literature.
- Independently or collaboratively draft policy briefs, research notes, and reports.
- Manage and contribute to the organisation’s social media engagement.
- Support communication, outreach, and training resource development.
- Collaborate closely with government officials, academics, and civil society leaders to interpret insights and inform policy.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Public Policy or related discipline.
- At least 1 year of research experience.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills focused on clarity and precision.
- Strong teamwork as well as independent working capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality standards.
