Video Volunteers

Video Volunteers believes that India's development narrative is incomplete without the voices of its most marginalised communities. Through their flagship initiative IndiaUnheard, they train community correspondents from rural and underserved areas to become citizen journalists, documenting local issues using video technology. These correspondents, often living below the poverty line themselves, create compelling content that reaches mainstream media partners and policy makers. By amplifying voices that are systematically unheard, Video Volunteers transforms isolated struggles into broader movements for social justice and inclusive development.
