Position: Research Professionals (Research Associate to Fellow Level) β Energy Discipline
Location: Hyderabad and New Delhi
Role Overview:
We are looking for research professionals to join our Industrial Energy Efficiency Division. The role involves technical research, data analysis, energy efficiency assessments, and stakeholder engagement to support industrial sustainability efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Implementation
- Conduct technical assessments of industrial energy consumption patterns using qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Work on energy efficiency, industrial process optimization, and sustainability projects
- Analyze policy, regulatory, and economic aspects related to industrial energy efficiency
- Develop strategies for energy conservation in various industrial sectors
- Perform energy audits and efficiency assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Conduct field visits to industrial facilities for data collection and stakeholder engagement
- Prepare reports, case studies, and research publications on best practices in energy efficiency
General Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing project meetings, consultations, and workshops
- Collaborate with government agencies, industries, and research institutions
- Provide technical advisory support and capacity building for energy management programs
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Masterβs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, or related fields
- Candidates from other disciplines with relevant experience in industrial energy efficiency may also apply
Skills
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Knowledge of energy auditing, energy modeling tools, and industrial process analysis
- Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
- Excellent report writing skills for technical reports, policy briefs, and proposals
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Self-motivated and adaptable to dynamic work environments
Experience
- Knowledge of industrial energy management, process optimization, and energy efficiency frameworks
- Hands-on experience in energy conservation projects is a plus
- Open to entry-level and senior professionals (0 to 35 years of experience)
