Join Data For India as a Researcher & Writer and play a central role in producing original, data-driven content that shapes public understanding on issues like climate, energy, agriculture, and food. Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research and write clear, statistics-based pieces for the Data For India platform on climate, energy, agriculture, and food.
- Analyse Indian and global datasets, including household surveys, administrative data, and major agency statistics, to generate actionable insights.
- Liaise with subject matter experts, synthesise published research, and collaborate with team members for joint projects.
- Clearly explain data sources and methodologies in every output.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
- Proven experience in data journalism, data communications, or related research
- Strong familiarity with datasets from Indian and international agencies
- Excellent data analysis, writing, and communication skills
- A track record of teamwork and independent project delivery.
