Role
Join a meaningful mission to transform education by working directly with government school teachers across Uttarakhand. You'll help dedicated educators enhance their professional skills and create lasting impact in primary and upper primary classrooms throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct continuous professional development programmes for teachers and head teachers
- Focus on educational perspectives, subject knowledge (particularly early language and mathematics), pedagogy and assessment techniques
- Build communities of practice through peer learning groups, collaborative workshops and educational melas
- Facilitate reflective practices including daily journaling, programme reviews and collective dialogue sessions
- Support management of Teacher Learning Centres across different blocks
- Contribute to the Foundation's democratic values and collaborative culture
- Mentor colleagues on various educational projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Graduation with minimum 5 years teaching experience OR postgraduation with minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Relevant field experience in the social sector also considered
- Proficiency in Hindi and English languages
- Willingness to travel extensively within district/state
- Commitment to democratic values and collaborative working
