Role
The Senior Analyst - Counsellor is a high-level role that combines deep interpersonal guidance with analytical oversight. You will lead the efforts in identifying candidate potential through psychometric tools and professional counselling while analysing mobilization trends to ensure the most effective outreach strategies for the Skill India Mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth counselling and psychometric analysis to map candidate aptitudes to futuristic job roles.
- Supervise walk-in management and ensure a high standard of professional guidance at the center.
- Analyse community mobilization data to identify high-impact areas for outreach and recruitment.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, and local government bodies.
- Oversee the registration and documentation process to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance.
- Develop re-engagement strategies for dropout or rejected candidates to find them suitable alternatives.
- Prepare detailed analytical reports on mobilization targets and student enrolment trends.
- Coordinate with regional heads to align center-level activities with national skill development goals.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work (MSW), or a related field; Graduate with relevant certifications.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in counseling, mobilization, or managing skill development projects.
- Strong expertise in interpreting psychometric tools and career guidance frameworks.
- Advanced skills in data reporting and basic MIS management (MS Excel is a must).
- Proven ability to lead community meetings and influence local stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to empathize and motivate young learners.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to meet and exceed mobilization targets.
