Role

Identify and engage corporate partners and nonprofits to build strategic partnerships. You'll source leads, pitch WeDoGood's skilled volunteering platform, and manage relationships that connect professional volunteers with organisations needing expertise to scale their impact.

Responsibilities

  • Source leads from various databases and channels to identify potential corporate and nonprofit clients
  • Initiate strategic outreach efforts to engage with corporates and NGOs, generating interest in WeDoGood's skilled volunteering services
  • Pitch WeDoGood's platform effectively to different target audiences, tailoring presentations to address specific organisational needs and challenges
  • Articulate WeDoGood's value proposition and entire operating model during client meetings and stakeholder presentations
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the social sector community and corporate CSR teams
  • Maintain comprehensive database of leads and client interactions, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for effective pipeline management
  • Utilise Excel and other technology tools to manage, track, and analyse sales data and partnership metrics
  • Create compelling proposals and supporting documentation to facilitate the partnership development process
  • Structure productive meetings, take detailed notes, and identify clear next steps to ensure timely follow-up and actionable outcomes
  • Own and lead partnership workstreams in a fast-paced startup environment with high growth potential

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or client relationship management
  • Energised by building relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders from nonprofits to corporate leaders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to senior executives
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving results in partnership or sales environments
  • Strategic mindset focused on creating win-win scenarios for clients and WeDoGood's mission
  • Resilient approach to setbacks with openness to continuous learning and adaptation
  • Genuine passion for social impact and making a measurable difference in communities
  • Strong ownership mentality with ability to drive initiatives independently
  • Proficiency in Excel and CRM tools for data management and analysis
  • Experience in the social sector, CSR, or impact space preferred
