Role
At Noora Health, data helps us make the right decisions for the communities we serve. Currently, our data is spread across different platforms. The Data Engineer will play a vital role in bringing all this information together into one central system. By building and maintaining these data pipelines, you will help our teams understand how to improve our health programs and better support the families who rely on us.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage data pipelines and processes to ensure our information is accurate and easy to use.
- Work closely with our program and design teams to understand what data they need to help patients.
- Set up rules for data safety and privacy to protect the information of the people we serve.
- Help our data analysts create clear dashboards that show how our programs are performing.
- Maintain our central data warehouse so that it stays fast and reliable.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve how our applications store and organize information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience in data analysis, engineering, data management or other equivalent fields.
- Strong background in designing data models and working with large-scale data systems.
- Skilled in SQL, Python, DML, and data warehousing tools. Experience with data reporting and cloud platforms.
- A proactive problem-solver who can communicate well with different teams and shows cultural sensitivity.
- A strong commitment to health equity and a desire to use technology for social good.
