Role
The Senior Manager will be part of the Marketing and Communications team, reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications. The role requires strong marketing, management, communication, and interpersonal skills, and involves working across departments to build brand visibility, manage sponsorships, and lead events.
Responsibilities
Marketing – Cause and Brand Marketing, Partnerships, Sponsorships:
- Develop annual brand/cause marketing and sponsorship plans.
- Create sponsorship/support materials and manage benefit fulfilment.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing sponsors.
- Research, identify, and pitch to potential sponsors.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements and terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams for campaign and cause marketing work.
Organisation-wide Fundraising, Community Outreach, and Events:
- Plan and execute events as per the strategic fundraising plan.
- Manage logistics, promotional materials, and event execution.
Tracking and Analysis:
- Monitor brand visibility, engagement, and ROI.
- Prepare regular reports and lead brand research to assess reach and impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/MBA in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years’ managerial experience in marketing, cause marketing, brand/sponsorship management, sales, event management, or related areas.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills.
- Creativity and strategic thinking to develop innovative campaigns.
- Ability to deliver with small teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight timelines.
- Experience working with senior-level executives.
- Passion for nature, conservation, and environmental issues is preferred.
