The/Nudge Institute

The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling and economic inclusion, along with 15+ central and state government partners. Our economic inclusion journey for 25 million Indians, has reached 10 states with $250M of government funding to cover 1.25M people. Role

This role involves defining the product strategy for The/Nudge's poverty alleviation programs. You will lead user research with field staff and beneficiaries, manage the product roadmap, and collaborate with government stakeholders to drive adoption of tech solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive product strategy by translating program needs into a clear roadmap.
  • Lead user research to understand field staff, beneficiaries, and government users.
  • Drive adoption within operations teams through training and change management.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to secure buy-in and drive product adoption.
  • Identify and automate high friction operational processes using technology.
  • Use data and analytics to track product performance, adoption, and impact.
  • Lead collaboration between product, engineering, operations, and external partners.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on user-centricity and innovation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience in product strategy, consulting, product management, or entrepreneurial roles.
  • Ability to learn, iterate, and pivot based on new information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for solving large-scale social problems.
  • Growth mindset to learn new concepts.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Written and spoken fluency in Hindi and English.
  • Willingness to stay and travel in deep rural areas.
