Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Executive Director of WRI India’s Energy Program by managing administrative tasks, coordinating complex schedules, and liaising with diverse stakeholders. The Executive Assistant will ensure smooth daily operations and provide vital support for events, travel, and communications.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings and speaking engagements.
- Prepare meeting agendas, documents, and follow-up notes.
- Organize domestic and international travel logistics and manage related expenses.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and major events.
- Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director, staff, partners, donors, and external stakeholders.
- Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations with confidentiality.
- Support research, data compilation, special projects, and coordination across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in any discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting senior leadership, ideally in nonprofit, climate, or energy sectors.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web conferencing tools; familiarity with Concur and Asana is a plus.
- Ability to manage multi-time zone scheduling and international travel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable under pressure.
- Willingness to travel within India as required.
