Role
The Senior Program Manager leads the regional strategy in Mumbai to improve student learning and develop Fellow leadership. You will manage a team of program staff, design training cycles, and build a strong community culture to ensure every child in the program reaches their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual regional strategy by setting clear goals, priorities, and timelines for student and Fellow success.
- Design robust program implementation plans that include monitoring, evaluation, and curriculum sequences for Fellow training.
- Coordinate programmatic activities such as student leadership initiatives, coaching sessions, and school partnerships.
- Manage and coach a team of program staff, driving their professional growth, engagement, and retention.
- Collaborate with national training teams and other regional managers to share best practices and improve educational outcomes.
- Oversee monitoring and evaluation systems to track progress and provide strategic direction for continuous improvement.
- Act as an ambassador for educational equity by supporting recruitment, fundraising, and movement-building efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- 5+ years of full-time professional work experience.
- 2+ years of teaching experience in a low-income school with a proven track record of student growth.
- 2+ years in an instructional leadership role focusing on team culture and training effectiveness.
- Proficiency in data management and project management tools to oversee multiple workstreams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership ability to coach high-performing teams toward ambitious goals.
