Role
Support Peepul’s fundraising activities by helping to expand the donor base, strengthen relationships with donors, and support the execution of the team’s fundraising strategy.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Fundraising Manager to shape and execute fundraising strategies for Peepul’s programs.
- Research and identify new donor prospects among foundations, corporates, and individuals.
- Engage prospective donors through calls, meetings, presentations, and proposals.
- Draft proposals, grant applications, reports, and updates for existing and potential supporters.
- Maintain strong relationships with current donors and respond to their queries.
- Plan and support donor project visits as needed.
- Create communication materials to engage retail donors.
- Support volunteer engagement initiatives linked to donors.
- Work with finance and operations teams on donor due diligence and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business administration, social work, public policy, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or related stakeholder management roles.
- Strong network of relationships with CSR and philanthropic organisations.
- Proven ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders and manage relationships.
- Results-focused with strong ownership and credibility.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi.
