About the role
Dasra is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Technical Manager to spearhead their digital transformation efforts. This role is crucial in ensuring that technology aligns with and enhances the organization's mission. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of leading a team and collaborating across departments to implement technology solutions that advance Dasra’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Transformation Leadership: Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making through digital transformation.
- Tech + Data Strategy: Design and execute the technology and data strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s roadmap.
- Software Development & IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software projects and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and guide program teams to identify business needs and build efficient systems using technology.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Drive the adoption of data analytics and business intelligence tools to support informed decision-making and impact measurement.
- Capacity Building: Build the internal team’s capacity on technological tools and processes, fostering a culture of learning and adaptation.
- Partnership Management: Identify and manage relationships with partners who can provide the necessary applications and technologies to meet the organization’s needs.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring the cost-effective use of resources.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Educational Background: An engineering degree with at least 10+ years of experience in the technology sector.
- Strategic & Managerial Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a strategic and managerial role.
- Social Sector Experience: Experience working or volunteering in the social sector is essential.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing technology strategies, with deep knowledge of Technical Engineering, Project/Program Management, Data Analysis, and Management.
- Soft Skills: Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills. A learning and adaptive mindset is crucial to fit with organizational needs and constraints.
Salary Range: Between ₹30 LPA and ₹40 LPA.
