Position: Manager / Senior Manager – Youth Skilling Program
Role Overview:
The Manager / Senior Manager – Youth Skilling Program will lead efforts to train and place youth in Aerospace Manufacturing careers. This role involves building industry partnerships, ensuring high-quality training, driving successful placements, and expanding program reach. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in skill development, a strong network within the manufacturing and skilling ecosystem, and the ability to mentor and guide youth towards career success.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain partnerships with technical institutes, industry leaders, and stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of training programs to ensure high-quality learning and employment outcomes.
- Manage program budgets, reporting, and documentation for impact assessment.
- Mentor and guide youth, ensuring their career readiness and smooth placements.
- Organize and coordinate key events, industry interactions, and workshops.
- Travel up to 15 days per month to expand the program’s reach.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in youth skilling, workforce development, or vocational training (experience with MSME, NSDC, or Sector Skill Councils preferred).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, aerospace, and skill training ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
