Indian Childhood Cancer Initiative (ICCI)

The Indian Childhood Cancer Initiative (ICCI) is a platform that unites stakeholders in the pediatric oncology community across India. The initiative aims to develop a National Childhood Cancer Plan and Policy in collaboration with the Government of India. ICCI focuses on achieving the 2030 goal of 60% survival and 100% access to treatment by adapting the WHO Global Initiative on Childhood Cancer (GICC) CUREALL technical package and integrating it with India's cancer control plans at the central and state levels. Formally launched in March 2023, ICCI works to align government efforts, the pediatric oncology community, and civil society in developing a comprehensive national strategy for childhood cancer.
