Magic Bus India Foundation is seeking a Social Media Manager who is both experienced and creative. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies that build a strong brand presence, inspire engagement, and support the organization’s mission. You will collaborate with internal teams and agencies to create compelling content, drive impactful campaigns, and grow our digital footprint.
About The Role

Reports To: Head of Communications / Marketing Director
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a dynamic social media strategy with agency collaboration.
- Execute thematic campaigns aligned with organizational goals to engage the target audience.
- Increase social media followers, engagement, and LinkedIn newsletter subscribers.
Content Creation & Management:
- Work with agencies to produce 50+ content pieces monthly (posts, videos, infographics, etc.).
- Lead social media post creation and ensure alignment with brand messaging.
- Develop newsletters, email campaigns, and social media-specific content like reels and UGC contests.
Agency Management:
- Ensure agency deliverables meet the Statement of Work (SOW) and brand expectations.
- Oversee high-quality content production by external agencies.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Use analytics tools to track campaign performance and refine strategies.
- Provide monthly reports on metrics such as traffic, followers, impressions, and engagement.
- Drive increased social traffic to the Magic Bus India Foundation website.
Internal Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social content with broader initiatives.
- Organize quarterly UGC contests for internal engagement.
- Support digital marketing needs for pitch documents, landing pages, presentations, emails, and WhatsApp content.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 7–8 years in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (preferably in nonprofit/education sectors).
- Proven experience in designing and executing engaging social media strategies.
- Strong background in agency management and cross-functional collaboration.
Skills
- Proficiency in tools like Canva, InShots, and social media management platforms (Zoho, Meta Business).
- Strong data analysis skills for performance tracking and strategy optimization.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
