Tech4Good Community

Tech4Good Community is a women-led social change organisation based in Bangalore, working to bridge the technology gap in India’s social sector. Founded in 2018, T4GC has made it its mission to demystify and champion technology for grassroots nonprofits and social enterprises. Role

Are you eager to use your coding skills for ecological and social impact? Join Tech4Good Community’s Conservation Coalition—where you’ll help restore forests and safeguard biodiversity, while growing as a technologist and collaborator.

Responsibilities

  • Develop practical, scalable tech solutions for field teams restoring degraded landscapes and tracking biodiversity.
  • Ship usable software to real-world users, iterate based on feedback, and ensure product reliability.
  • Prototype fast, communicate with diverse users, and create intuitive experiences.
  • Solve problems independently, balancing product and UX thinking with technical execution.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Flutter, and MongoDB. Full stack flexibility is crucial.
  • Awareness of data security and privacy issues relevant to ecological projects.
  • Ability to build both user-facing experiences and back-end infrastructure.
  • Experience or comfort tying together forest ecology data, AI models, and mobile workflows.
  • A quick learner who can work without a fixed roadmap or extensive supervision.
