Join Frappe’s flagship ERPNext team and help build software that powers 30,000+ companies worldwide. As a Software Engineer, you’ll dive into open source code, tackle real business challenges and work with a talented, collaborative team – all from the comfort of your chosen remote location.

Responsibilities

• Co-own and enhance ERPNext modules, ensuring they are reliable, scalable and user-friendly.
• Design, develop and customise solutions using Python and JavaScript on the Frappe framework.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to turn complex requirements into elegant features.
• Conduct testing, debugging and code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
• Contribute to documentation and continuous product improvement.
• Engage with the open source community and keep pace with the latest technical advancements.

Requirements

• Solid experience building web applications; personal or open source projects count.
• Good grasp of Python and JavaScript; knowledge of HTML/CSS and Git is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or willingness to learn quickly.
• Enthusiasm for open source development and a knack for solving real-world problems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative environment.
