About the Role
The role involves working with the WGDT Project Incubation team to research, conceptualize, and implement solutions for various problem statements using emerging technologies in the government sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the WGDT Project Incubation team to conceptualize solutions to problem statements.
- Research and develop solution/concept documents using emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, computer vision, and NLP for the government sector.
- Review and support validation of ideas and problem statements from workshops and client engagements.
- Coordinate with clients to gather requirements, understand current processes, and plan project initiation and implementation.
- Conduct desk research on case studies of successful technology solutions in the government sector.
- Evaluate the potential use of emerging technologies in government projects and provide recommendations.
- Stay updated on technology trends and developments in the market.
- Create and maintain a repository of solutions, including metadata, and present findings to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in digital transformation projects within the government or public sector.
- Experience working with senior government officials.
- Hands-on vendor management skills.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI, Gen-AI, computer vision, and machine learning.
Other Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
