About the Role
The Specialist - M&E will work under the Biodiversity Conservation division and play a vital role in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks. The role involves working on adaptive management, data analysis, donor engagement, and supporting the smooth execution of various biodiversity programmes.
Location: New Delhi
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen M&E procedures aligned with WWF-India’s framework.
- Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of projects using efficient tools.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to support adaptive management.
- Develop monitoring and impact indicators for project success.
- Support landscape teams in compiling progress, outcomes, and impacts.
- Prepare technical reports for donors and partners.
- Create M&E frameworks for new concepts and proposals.
- Build an ecosystem of M&E resources and train teams on modern methodologies.
- Assist with donor and partner engagements.
- Analyse fund utilisation and provide inputs for budgeting in new proposals.
- Handle any other responsibilities related to the Biodiversity Programme.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background:
- B. Tech / M. Tech / M. Sc / Environmental Science
- Preferred institutions: TIS / IIFM
Experience:
- 3–5 years in a related field.
Compensation
- Competitive with Indian NGO pay scales.
- Based on the candidate’s experience and WWF-India’s salary structure.
