Role

The (Sr.) Specialist - Fundraising will lead the strategy to grow Peepul’s resources. The goal of this role is to build a strong team, find new donor partners, and maintain great relationships with existing supporters to help the organization reach its goal of transforming more schools across India.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead a long-term plan to raise funds from foundations, companies, and individuals.
• Find and connect with new partners who want to support education.
• Build and manage high-level partnerships with corporate brands in India.
• Manage relationships with international foundations, ensuring they receive regular updates and impact reports.
• Develop organized systems to track donor conversations and future funding opportunities.
• Act as a representative for Peepul at external events to increase the organization's visibility.
• Oversee social media and communication efforts to share the impact of Peepul’s work with the public.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience managing relationships with Indian and international donors.
• A strong existing network within CSR and philanthropic organizations.
• Proven ability to negotiate and influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
• A result-oriented mindset with a strong sense of personal ownership over tasks.
• Excellent professional skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong technical skills in using data and reporting tools to share progress.
• High cultural sensitivity and the ability to build trust with diverse groups of people.
