The CDF STEM Femme Fellowship - Digital Skilling Edition, launched by the Citizen Digital Foundation (CDF), is a unique initiative designed to empower women by equipping them with essential digital skills. This six-month, part-time programme aims to bridge the gender gap in digital literacy and provide women with the tools they need to succeed in the workforce or as entrepreneurs.
About the Fellowship
The CDF STEM Femme Fellowship focuses on uplifting women from diverse backgrounds by offering them hands-on training in digital skills. These skills are tailored to help women:
- Join the workforce in flexible roles.
- Start and manage their own small businesses.
Fellows play a pivotal role in this initiative. They will mentor and guide women, ensuring they overcome social challenges and gain the confidence to use their skills effectively.

- Duration: Six months, part-time.
- Target Group: Women with basic computer knowledge looking to improve their digital proficiency. The fellowship is open to candidates residing in Kerala, India.
- Support System: Backed by Women Inclusive in Technology (WIIT) and Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies, ensuring a robust support network for the fellows and participants.
