Role
A heart-centered position for individuals ready to mentor underprivileged children through weekend educational activities and creative play.
Responsibilities
- Interact with children in a respectful and joyful manner.
- Facilitate fun learning activities, storytelling, and games.
- Support the coordination of Sunday educational events.
- Act as a positive mentor and role model for every child.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure a safe learning environment.
Requirements
- Enrollment in or completion of a secondary or higher education program.
- No prior experience required, though working with children is a plus.
- Proficiency in spoken English.
- Ability to speak Kannada is a benefit for Bangalore-based volunteers.
- Basic understanding of creative teaching or activity planning.
- Strong communication, leadership, and empathy skills.
- Availability on Sundays for a minimum of two hours.
- Commitment to a two-month duration starting by late March 2026.
