This work is critical to strengthening classroom practice and ensuring young students build a strong base for future learning. The organization plays a key role in developing academic materials, building the capacity of teachers and resource coordinators, and ensuring programme alignment with state education systems.
Role
You will serve as the State Academic Coordinator to anchor LLF’s foundational learning programme in Haryana, specifically focusing on Grades 4 and 5. This involves designing academic materials, building the capacity of educators, and coordinating closely with state government bodies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop academic materials and training modules for Grades 4 and 5.
- Build the capacity of teachers, SRGs (State Resource Groups), and academic resource coordinators.
- Coordinate with government officials, DIETs, and SCERT for programme alignment.
- Facilitate workshops, review meetings, and classroom support visits.
- Monitor implementation quality and use data to continuously improve outcomes.
- Represent LLF in government-led forums on foundational learning.
Requirements
- 5–7 years’ experience in academic roles or teacher education.
- Strong understanding of foundational literacy and pedagogy.
- Proven ability to design trainings, observation tools, and learning materials.
- Experience working with state education systems and government partners.
- Excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English.
- Proficiency in digital tools and willingness to travel extensively across Haryana.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (Implied by the experience/role).
