Role
The MacArthur Foundation is inviting applications for a Team Coordinator to support its India office in New Delhi. This role is central to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting program activities, and assisting leadership in advancing the Foundation’s mission in India.
As part of one of the world’s largest independent philanthropic foundations, you will be working on initiatives that address pressing global challenges, with a special focus in India on climate change mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings, events, and visits, including logistics for staff and grantees.
- Provide executive support to the Country Director and Deputy Director, including calendar and travel management.
- Assist with drafting, formatting, proofreading, and fact-checking documents.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of data in database systems.
- Manage IT coordination, office supplies, and liaise with building management for upkeep.
- Support expense reporting and handle calls, mail, and general office administration.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant administrative experience in coordination, scheduling, or document management.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
- Interest in and enthusiasm for the Foundation’s mission.
