Role

You will serve as the operational backbone for the Pragati AI for Impact initiative, managing the full grant lifecycle from selection to close-out. This position acts as the bridge between tech cohorts, partners, and mentors to ensure the delivery of scalable, ethical AI solutions that drive measurable social impact.

Responsibilities

Lead the outreach and manage the selection process to ensure a fair, transparent, and impact-focused cohort.
Oversee the coordination of AI and technology initiatives, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Act as the central point of contact connecting cohort members, mentors, technical teams, and funders.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with AI/tech partners and ecosystem actors to map resources.
Organize orientation sessions, workshops, and peer-learning platforms to build the capabilities of the cohort.
Ensure the Monitoring & Evaluation partner effectively tracks pilot performance and maintains accountability.
Collect project data to generate insights and document learnings for reports and case studies.
Promote ethical AI practices and inclusive design across all cohort projects.

Requirements

10-15 years of experience in technology or product leadership, ideally within startups or innovation-driven teams.
Proven experience leading engineering or product functions and driving products from concept to launch.
Strong conceptual understanding of AI/ML systems, digital platforms, and building in complex environments.
Ability to engage with code at a conceptual level to support technical discussions and problem solving.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with a commitment to ethical and inclusive technology.
Prior experience in the social impact space is an advantage but not essential for mission-aligned candidates.
