MiracleFeet is a global nonprofit dedicated to eliminating clubfoot as a cause of physical disability. Over two million children currently live with the severe consequences of untreated clubfoot, with 200,000 new cases occurring each year. MiracleFeet promotes the Ponseti Method, a non-surgical treatment that is 95% effective and costs less than USD $500 per case. Since 2010, MiracleFeet has expanded its impact to over 100,000 children across 35+ countries, supporting treatment through a robust network of 353 clinics.
About the Role
MiracleFeet seeks a Technical Program Officer (TPO) to support and coordinate initiatives aimed at improving clinical quality and promoting best practices across its programs. The TPO will work closely with the Technical Director and contribute to workforce development, service delivery, and clinical research. This full-time remote position is open to candidates based in one of MiracleFeet’s operating regions.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence
- Maintain strong relationships with program staff and global partners to identify technical assistance needs.
- Support program planning and monitoring cycles, including analyzing clinical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and implement global, regional, and country-level campaigns to improve clinical quality.
- Liaise with the Medical Advisory Board to implement treatment strategies and improvements.
- Enhance data systems to strengthen the quality of clinical monitoring.
Workforce Development
- Develop and maintain evidence-based training materials, standards, and curricula.
- Oversee the quality and effectiveness of Ponseti training programs and mentorship.
- Organize regional training sessions and serve as a lead trainer/clinical mentor.
- Assist in the development and review of technical reports and case studies.
- Manage project coordination, including financial management, contracts, procurement, and consultant payments.
Knowledge Building & Learning
- Prepare, review, and edit project-related reports and strategies.
- Represent MiracleFeet externally through technical presentations and updates.
- Foster relationships with key partners and alliances to enhance organizational learning.
- Document program successes, lessons learned, and challenges for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the submission of abstracts and presentations at industry conferences.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Trained in the Ponseti method of clubfoot correction, with at least two years of clinical experience and treatment of 20+ patients.
- Clinical degree in medicine or rehabilitation (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum five years of experience in public health or international development projects.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to travel internationally (4–6 times per year).

- Experience working in low- and middle-income countries.
- Skilled in diplomacy, relationship-building, and cultural competency.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to organizational needs.
Salary & Employment Details
- Salary commensurate with experience.
- This is a contract-based remote position.
