Role
As a Tele-Fundraising Officer, you act as the primary voice for India's wildlife. This role goes beyond making calls; it is about connecting everyday people with the urgent need to protect our natural heritage and turning casual listeners into lifelong champions for the environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative ways to explain the mission and India's biodiversity to potential supporters.
- Connect with donors over the phone to clearly explain WWF-India's impact and secure necessary funds.
- Build long-term relationships with donors and encourage them to deepen their support over time.
- Manage phone and email inquiries, ensuring every supporter feels heard and valued.
- Keep the supporter database accurate and up to date to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- A Graduate or Post Graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Strong command of English with the ability to listen well and build quick rapport.
- A performance-driven mindset with the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience in business development or public speaking is an asset.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
