International Foundation for Diversity Inclusion

The International Foundation for Diversity Inclusion (IFDI) works to change how disability is perceived and reported in India. They aim to shift narratives away from charity and welfare toward dignity, justice, rights, and accountability. By empowering inclusive storytelling, IFDI supports journalism that influences policy and public perception. They provide resources and mentorship to reporters, helping them investigate systemic barriers and highlight the lived experiences of persons with disabilities across various sectors.

Journalism Fellowship on Disability Inclusion

This six-month programme is designed for journalists who want to produce deep, rights-based reporting on disability. Fellows will move beyond standard coverage to investigate structural exclusion in areas like education, healthcare, and employment. The fellowship supports the creation of investigative stories that bring overlooked perspectives into the mainstream discourse.
