The UX Designer will be responsible for creating user-friendly, accessible interfaces for various e-governance platforms. This role is crucial for improving the citizen experience under the Digital India initiative.
Key Responsibilities
User Research and Analysis
- Conduct user research to understand user needs.
- Analyze data to identify pain points and opportunities.
Design and Prototyping
- Create wireframes and prototypes aligned with project goals.
- Develop interactive designs for user flows.
Collaboration
- Work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and refine based on feedback.
Usability Testing
- Plan and conduct usability tests.
- Iterate designs based on feedback.
Accessibility and Standards
- Ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines.
- Promote UX design best practices within NeGD.
Documentation
- Prepare design specifications and style guides.
- Maintain detailed records of design decisions.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should have:
- Expertise in user-centered design principles.
- Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and accessibility compliance.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
