Role

You will be the digital bridge connecting at-risk individuals to life-saving health services. By using social media and dating apps, you will provide friendly, confidential guidance and counseling to help people access HIV and STI testing and care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital outreach efforts on platforms like WhatsApp and dating apps to reach underserved communities.
  • Coordinate risk assessments and counselling sessions for individuals at risk of HIV and STIs.
  • Manage a consistent schedule of social media posts and short reels to share health information.
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality and respectful communication across all digital platforms.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure they successfully transition from initial contact to clinical testing and treatment.
  • Document client interactions and feedback to help improve project strategies and messaging.
  • Track monthly targets for outreach and service conversion to meet national health guidelines.
  • Collaborate with counsellors and managers to vet all health-related content before publication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in digital intervention management or public health outreach.
  • Native or professional fluency in regional languages (Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Hindi, or Punjabi) and English.
  • Strong technical skills in using social media backend tools and Google Analytics for data tracking.
  • Creative ability to produce engaging digital content such as short-form videos and graphics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to counseling.
  • Proven ability to manage data and maintain organized digital records.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20 days a month and work flexible hours to meet client needs.
