Role

Guide young children in grades Nursery through 5 in the art of weaving to help them develop focus, manual dexterity, and a sense of accomplishment through tactile learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on weaving sessions for primary school students.
• Coordinate classroom activities that align heritage crafts with educational goals.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a safe and creative learning environment.
• Support children in developing patience and creative problem-solving skills.
• Communicate the value of traditional crafts to students and school leadership.

Requirements

• Passionate individuals who enjoy working with children (female candidates preferred).
• Educational background in Montessori teaching or general education is a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to learn and master basic weaving techniques during provided training.
• Patience and leadership skills required to manage young learners.
