Role
The Student Success Lead is a senior leadership position focused on growing national skilling programs. You will bridge the gap between students, training institutes, and employers to ensure young people gain the skills they need to get hired.
Responsibilities
- Lead the national skilling initiative from start to finish to ensure program success.
- Drive the growth of the skilling ecosystem by balancing student enrolment with employer demand.
- Expand and manage partnerships with government bodies and vocational training institutes.
- Ensure every program results in real jobs and measurable success for the students.
- Design and implement business models that use technology to reach more people.
- Build and lead a high-performing team to meet ambitious community goals.
- Establish a network of mentors and trainers to support long-term student growth.
Requirements
- A solid academic background with a degree in a relevant field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience specifically in education, B2C sectors, or the skilling industry.
- Deep knowledge of Vocational Training Institutes (VTI) and working with government agencies.
- Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical skills in data analytics, outcome measurement, and using digital platforms for scale.
- Strong leadership skills to manage complex projects and make decisions in fast-paced settings.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the country to visit program sites.
