About the Role
WWF-India is seeking a Programme Coordinator to join its Rivers & Wetlands team. The role involves managing programmes, developing funding proposals, and monitoring & evaluating initiatives.
Location: New Delhi, India
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management:
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of field projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of outcomes and technical/financial targets.
- Facilitate collaboration between various teams.
Programme Development:
- Develop proposals and support fundraising initiatives.
- Respond to funding opportunities within WWF-Network and externally.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
- Design and implement M&E plans for new projects.
- Regularly monitor data, analyse it, and provide insights for adaptive management.
- Train team members on emerging M&E tools and frameworks.
- Prepare technical, field, and financial reports for stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
Educational Background: Master’s degree in social science, development planning, statistics, management, or related fields.
Experience: 5-8 years in monitoring & evaluation or results-based management in the development sector.
Skills
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in designing M&E systems and conducting evaluations.
- Strong understanding of development and conservation sectors (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent writing and analytical abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
Other Abilities:
- Multitasking and meeting deadlines.
- Coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
