Role
This role is perfect for a hands-on builder with a startup or consulting background who wants to lead social impact "experiments." You will design, test, and execute pilot programs in the field, turning real-world data into better long-term solutions for economic inclusion. Essentially, you'll be running a high-stakes R&D lab for social change.
Responsibilities
- Own the full process of designing pilots for the Economic Inclusion Program, define the problem, the hypothesis, what the programme will do, and how success will be measured
- Spend significant time in the field visit rural programme areas, talk to participants and frontline staff to understand what is really happening on the ground
- Work closely with the Operations team to plan and run pilots across programme states
- Turn what you learn in the field into clear insights and use them to quickly improve the programme design
- Work with Operations, Impact, and Strategy teams to make sure pilot learnings shape bigger programme decisions
- Build frameworks and guides that help successful pilots grow and be used at scale
- Share findings clearly with internal leaders and external partners
Requirements
- 7+ years of work experience in management consulting, product management, or a new initiatives or experiments role at a startup
- Strong ability to break down unclear problems and design well-structured pilots
- Comfortable working with both numbers and stories quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Familiarity with data tools like SQL or Excel is a plus
- Willingness and genuine enthusiasm to spend meaningful time in rural field areas
- Clear and confident communicator able to work across Operations, Impact, and Leadership teams
- Able to move quickly, learn from what does not work, and keep improving without losing focus
- Fluency in Hindi and English, both written and spoken
- Strong passion for solving large-scale social problems
