Role
The Centre Coordinator cum Facilitator will manage the day to day operations of a training centre in Gurugram under Project AtmaNirbhar, while also delivering employability and life skills training to youth from underprivileged communities and guiding them toward employment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily centre operations including admissions, attendance, fee records, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Coordinate with the outreach team to ensure timely batch formation and meet targets for enrolment, training completion, and job placements.
- Facilitate training sessions covering spoken English, interpersonal skills, computer and internet use, customer service, and interview preparation.
- Build an understanding of trainees' backgrounds through regular interaction with community members and families.
- Prepare trainees for job interviews, identify suitable employment opportunities, and coordinate with the placement team to support their job search.
- Stay in regular contact with recruiters to understand hiring requirements and keep up with changes in the job market.
- Mentor trainees throughout their learning journey to help them enter and grow in the organised job sector.
- Create engaging lesson plans within the prescribed training framework and report regularly on class and trainee progress.
Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline; Education, Social Work, or Psychology preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in training, facilitation, education, or skills development.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working in a fast-moving environment.
- Genuinely passionate about youth development and social impact.
