Role

The Project Coordinator will work on the ground to mobilise and support women entrepreneurs in western Rajasthan under the AU Udyogini Samridhi project. This project helps women from vulnerable communities become self-reliant by training them in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and digital skills so they can start and grow their own small businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Organise community meetings, awareness campaigns, door to door visits, and family meetings to identify, register, and mobilise women interested in starting a business.
  • Select beneficiaries based on socio-economic criteria and entrepreneurial potential; coordinate community launch programmes to build family and community acceptance.
  • Support the planning and delivery of entrepreneurship, business growth, and financial literacy training sessions; collect documents and maintain attendance records.
  • Guide women beneficiaries, help strengthen peer entrepreneurial groups, and share success stories to encourage and motivate others.
  • Provide hands-on mentoring on accounting, record-keeping, shop display, and day to day business management through regular shop visits.
  • Help entrepreneurs connect with reliable wholesalers and bulk buyers; collect monthly business data for reporting.
  • Monitor enterprise progress weekly, track income, expenditure, and reinvestment; collect monitoring and evaluation data including qualitative feedback and success stories.
  • Share daily and weekly field updates, including challenges and progress, with the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate community-based events and programmes in partnership with entrepreneurs and local stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in community development programmes.
  • Strong community engagement and communication skills; comfortable working in rural field conditions.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to manage data in real time, use geo-tagging tools, and capture photos and short videos for documentation.
  • Must own a two-wheeler for regular field visits. Fuel costs for official work will be reimbursed.
  • Willing to stay in basic accommodation near project areas and move to a new project site every six months.
