Role
This is a senior field role that calls for strong management, reporting, and coordination skills. The person in this role will oversee field operations, mentor the field team, and work closely with government departments and local communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall field implementation of project activities across the assigned area
- Supervise and mentor field staff, Community Health Workers, and volunteers
- Prepare implementation plans, activity schedules, and monitoring frameworks
- Coordinate with government departments, PRI members, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and local stakeholders
- Organise awareness sessions, trainings, health camps, and community meetings in a timely manner
- Monitor project progress and ensure all targets and deliverables are achieved on time
- Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and project records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and donor reports in coordination with management
- Identify gaps in implementation and suggest practical solutions to improve execution
- Support community members in accessing government schemes and entitlements
Requirements
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in project management, rural development, healthcare, or social sector programmes
- Strong leadership, team management, and field supervision skills
- Experience coordinating with field teams and multiple stakeholders
- Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills
- Ability to plan, carry out, monitor, and review project activities independently
- Familiarity with government schemes, community institutions, and convergence processes
- Comfortable working with MS Office, reporting systems, and basic data tools
- Willingness to live and work in a remote, high-altitude area with limited connectivity
- Must own and be able to ride a two-wheeler
