Prakhyata Abhinand Charitable Trust (PACT India) is a non-profit organisation working in disability and rehabilitation. They care for orphaned, abandoned, and surrendered children with special needs living in Child Care Institutions and Adoption Agencies. PACT India works across Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, making sure every child in their network gets the support and therapy they need to grow and thrive.
Role
PACT India is looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to provide physiotherapy and rehabilitation support to children with special needs across partner orphanages and to adult clients at the base centre. The role involves travel to different locations. Specific responsibilities and role expectations will be discussed in detail during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Provide physiotherapy and rehabilitation support to children with special needs across partner orphanages
- Assess and manage adult clients at the base centre, including functional assessments and treatment planning
- Plan and conduct therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs and track their progress over time
- Coordinate with caregivers, medical staff, and partner institutions to ensure complete and holistic care
- Maintain detailed therapy records, session notes, and progress reports
- Travel to partner Child Care Institutions and community centres for on-ground service delivery
Requirements
- Master of Physiotherapy (MPT): freshers welcome
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) with up to 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience working with children, persons with disabilities, or adult rehabilitation is an advantage
- Comfortable with field travel across different work locations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups including children, caregivers, and medical teams
- A responsible, self-driven attitude suited to a senior role
