Established in 1991, Vibha works to ensure that every child, regardless of socio-economic status, receives quality education. The organisation has impacted over 3 million children and supports 19 grassroots initiatives in 11 states. Vibha also operates a Program Management Unit (PMU) in Delhi, working closely with government schools to improve learning outcomes.
About the Role
Vibha India is looking for an experienced Data Analyst & Evaluation Consultant to support the State NIPUN PMU under Samagra Shiksha. The consultant will be responsible for analysing data, generating actionable insights, and supporting evaluation efforts to improve education outcomes.

Specific Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Use advanced tools to interpret and analyse complex data sets, generating insights and comprehensive reports.
- Reporting: Produce detailed reports summarising findings and key insights.
- Predictive Analytics: Apply big data and predictive analytics techniques to guide decision-making for Samagra Shiksha.
- Survey Design: Assist in designing survey methods, data collection tools, and support evaluation initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Samagra Shiksha’s team to identify data needs and evaluate data analysis methods and tools.
- Communication: Present findings in user-friendly formats and offer data-driven recommendations.
- Capacity Building: Provide training and support to Samagra Shiksha staff on evaluation practices and data analysis tools.
Requirements and Skills
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications in Data Science are preferred.
- Experience: 6-8 years as a Data Analyst or in Program Evaluation, ideally within a government education project or social organisation.
- Evaluation Methodologies: Strong understanding of both qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Python, R, or SPSS.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Remuneration
₹10,00,000 to ₹12,00,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
